Release of Lab Results Policy

We have recently seen an increase in patients requesting their lab results. As you know, we cannot accommodate this request without your permission, since you are the custodian of that record. This is why it is our general policy to only release your patient’s lab results to your office. However, each patient has the right to their own lab results. If your patient would like a copy of their results, please indicate this on the requisition. Your satisfaction and the satisfaction of your patient’s are of the upmost importance to us.
